MACH is, to an extent, an experiment. The purpose of this circle is to document, digest, and disseminate lessons learned from the MACH project viewed as an experiment in large-scale convergence research.

Specific research efforts within this circle include:

• An ongoing longitudinal survey study of MACH participants
• A manuscript describing and reflecting on MACH’s year-1 scoping process
• A case study on challenges of doing convergence research for early-career researchers
