Convergent, co-produced coastal research engages researchers across disciplines and brings them together with practitioners and community representatives. Together, they co-create new knowledge and understanding to support community resilience while advancing scientific understanding. One of MACH's goals is to learn from our convergent research experiences and transfer that knowledge. Our annual meetings are among the many ways we have worked to improve the practice of convergence research.

Once a year, the MACH research team and our stakeholders gather to connect, share expertise, and share perspectives on topics of common interest. This meeting is typically held in late May on a Rutgers University Campus. As MACH is made up of institutions, organizations, and partners from across the country, this meeting allows participants to be energized in person.

The 2023 Annual meeting was hosted at Rutgers University, Camden Campus on May 30 and 31st, 2023. This served as the 2nd annual and 1st in-person meeting of the Hub. The meeting was hosted at Rutgers-Camden due to its close geographic proximity to MACH’s current decision partners - The City of Philadelphia and Gloucester City/Camden County, New Jersey.
