The New Jersey Climate Change Resource Center at Rutgers University, co-directed by MACH Senior Researchers Marjorie Kaplan and Lucas Marxen, hosted a conference in March that brought together various experts and state leaders focused on adaptation and mitigation.
Kaplan kicked off the conference with an overview of New Jersey’s climate goals and status, and MACH Senior Researcher Clinton Andrews spoke about NJ climate innovations in the first plenary session.
The fifth plenary discussion of the day, titled “Accelerating Climate Resilience Within The Changing Federal Landscape,” was moderated by the MACH Executive Director, Lisa Auermuller, and panelists included: MACH Director Robert Kopp and MACH stakeholder advisory panel members, Nicholas Angarone (NJDEP), Robert Freudenberg (RPA), and Domique Hawkins (Preservation Design Partnership).
The sixth plenary session, “Levers To Support Decarbonization And Adaptation”, was moderated by another MACH stakeholder advisory panel member, Martha Maxwell Doyle (Partnership for the Delaware Estuary)
