The Director and Principal Investigator of the Megalopolitan Transformation Hub (MACH), Dr. Robert Kopp, has been named a 2024 Guggenheim Fellow for the field of Geography and Environmental Studies. The John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation “offers fellowships to exceptional individuals in pursuit of scholarship in any field of knowledge and creation in any art form, under the freest possible
conditions”. Dr. Kopp will use the fellowship to work on a sea-level change and climate adaptation project and “write a book about climate change that will explore how to make decisions despite the uncertainties that are ahead”. See the full article featuring Dr. Kopp and two other Rutgers professors named 2024 Guggenheim fellows in Rutgers Today.
